Piggies! Among the most loved farm animals, the piggies cannot be excluded! Horses The pampered one of La Norma, doing a display of its brio and energy. Horses A very well cared horse is the symbol of La Norma. Cattle The cattle enjoying the green pasturage in the rainy season. Horses A pair of fillies with excellent look. Cattle A cow with its calf. Sheep A sheep with its lamb.

The farm is planned to emphasize the traditions and living way of Guanacaste province and to supply some of the requirements of the lodge and restaurant, apart from the fact that the solely walking by each of its sections can be of great attraction and learning for visitors, from kids to adults, which surely will be entertained with our farm animals. Hence, you can learn about the cowshed and the dairy, where the cows are milked, and that how that milk is used to made cheese and as part of the restaurant menu.

Our farm have the following facilities in its infrastructure:
• Stable.
• Sheep husbandry.
• Piggery with a wastes treatment system through a bio-digester which makes it fully environment friendly.
• Hen-house including turkeys and ducks.
• Cowshed and Dairy with daily milking at 6 am.

The hens are fed in a fully organic and natural way, so its eggs and meat are of extraordinary quality.

The piggery have its purpose as a provider of meat for the restaurant, and is a very interesting experience to visit the pigs, specially while the birth, as the pigs can have an offspring about of 10 to 14. All the waste materials are drove by underground pipes to a bio-digester which works as an organic treatment plant which after decompose it produces methane and compost.

There is a small sheep husbandry. Its purpose, as the piggery, is to provide with meat to the restaurant and being and attraction to all people that likes these animals.
